Found last week in the sales box of a big retailer for only 0,30 €. This is with a small tear in my eye that I am now the proud owner of exactly ONE pre-recorded minidisc.
Owner of a Sony MZ-R30 bought in 1997 with my first salary, I have really enjoyed the medium but it has since been replaced by a classic ipod for music listening. For recording interviews I have yet to find a good affordable replacement.
Yet pre-recorded MDs has always seemed a little weird to me. At at time where CDs where widely available and with a Sony offering consisting mainly of minidisc recorder, buying LPs on MDs had no added value.
